I lived in Laughlin and am moving back. There is no better place for a great sunset and if you can handle extreme summers it is a great place to live. It is not for the weak or sick, but it is for adventure and outdoors activities.

I lived in Bullhead City in '91 to '98 and worked in the casinos during that time. The Lodge used to be The Goldriver Hotel and Casino, the Aquarius was the Flamingo Hilton and the Ramada Express was across the streets and was train themed with a train ride that went around the casino/hotel. For a $1.99 we'd go to the Pioneer for a late dinner of steak and eggs after gambling and drinking all night at the Nugget. I was in my early 20s back then so I had lots of fun.

My daughters and I lived in Laughlin and it was not unusual for it to be 130+. The day we moved it was 136. No one talks about it because it would scare off the tourists.
